1/3 cup Large-flake oats
1 cup chick peas drained (rinsed)
3 garlic cloves
2 green onions chopped
2 tsp chili powder
1 tsp oregano
1 cup of lentils drained (rinsed)
1/2 cup diced cucumber
1/2 finely chopped fresh parsley
MIX: Oats in a food processor until ground. Add chickpeas,garlic, onions, egg, chili and oregano. Whirl scraping down mixture as needed , unit smooth.
Transfer to bowl and stir in lentils, cucumbers and parsley. Shape into 4 wide patties.
Serves 4/per serving: 191 Calories, 11 grams of protein, 32 grams of carbs, 3 grams of fat, 7 grams of fibre.
